| Here are some web sites of the airplanes and organizations for aircraft owners of experimental aircraft. Experimental aviation has become increasingly popular as airplanes manufactured by companies like Cessna and Piper have not been able to be updated due to the expense and certification process required by the F.A.A. in this country, and similar governing bodies throughout the world. There are hundreds of experimental aircraft companies with a variety of offerings; the two I have included are the companies whose kits I am building. The airplane with the red dragon plane is the first airplane kit I completed in March of 2003. I am in the process of finishing another kit airplane, a Europa. The red dragon is a Super RV8 and cruises comfortably at 200 M.P.H. This airplane will climb in excess of 3,000 per minute on take off, with a top speed of about 235 M.P.H. Contrast this with a similar certified airplane that cruises at 135 M.P.H. and climbs at less than 1,000 per minute. Quite a difference! As I update this page I will add other kit airplanes built by my aviation friends. So I hope that you enjoy this page and I welcome your questions and comments.
